Los Altos Robotics
Summer '24
Our program is designed around the 2024-2025 challenge, High Stakes, which serves a dual purpose: it introduces our teams to the field of Robotics and simultaneously prepares them for the upcoming year's competition. At a high level, we’ve built our program to allow students to make their own design decisions rather than having each team build identical robots. In doing so, we empower the students to seek an understanding of every WHY behind their design choices. Each of our programs concludes with an exhibition and mini tournament, demonstrating to parents how the Vex Robotics Competition is an incredible motivator for their students to advance their STEM education and the perfect way for parents to invest in their child’s success.
About Us
We are a group of high school students and alumni, who combined have won hundreds of awards throughout our time competing in Vex Robotics, including tens of awards at the World Championship of which include the World Champion award itself.

Additional Experience
Having been involved in making Vex-related events successful such as Google's Girl Powered Event, multiple IQ and VRC camps, and the NorCal Signature Event, we have plenty of experience in engaging with students new to and experienced in Vex Robotics. Between our thousands of volunteer hours we have accrued significant experience in community outreach and event management. We’ve also helped mentor middle school teams, many of which have qualified and performed well at the World Championship. Using our experience we’ve inspired thousands of students to engage further in STEM education.
